Clifton Trading is a general trading firm whose business model is loosely based upon that of the Japanese 'Sogo Shosha' (general trading company); we build relationships with manufacturers and distributors / wholesalers in different markets and then try and sell products between the two.  By following this model we enhance the businesses of both sides of our deals – manufacturers can enter and wholesalers can source from new markets which their size or experience may have prevented them from entering.

The founders of Clifton Trading have over 15 years experience trading fashion, food, cosmetics and industrial goods between Asia and Europe. We are happy to operate in most areas of the import / export trade, however are currently focused on the import and export of food & drink, household and heath & beauty items.
